Microsoft Surface book 2 have been launched in India. Here's everything you need to know about the latest Windows 10 device.
The surface laptop was launched in June last year and came with Windows 10 S operating System. Both Surface Laptop and surface Book 2 will be available across offline and online retail stores from today. Laptops is priced at Rs. 86,999 for the starting price, going up to Rs. 233,999. While Surface Book 2 will start at Rs. 1,37,999,Prices will go up to Rs. 295,999.

Variants of Surface Book 2 

There are seven variants of surface book 2: Four SKUs of the 13.5 inches version and three of the 15-inches variants. The starting RAM in the 13.5 inches variants is 8 GB and 256GB SSD.

1. 13.5 inches with Intel core i5, 256GB SSD and 8GB RAM, Intel HD Graphics 620 at Rs. 137,999
2. 13.5 inches with Intel core i7, 256GB SSD and 8GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 GPU at Rs. 185,999
3. 13.5 inches with Intel core i7, 512GB SSD and 16GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 GPU at Rs. 222,999
4. 13.5 inches with Intel core i7, 1TB SSD and 16GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 GPU at Rs. 257,999

Moving on the 15-inches variants:

1. 15 inches with Intel core i7, 256GB SSD and 16GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 GPU at Rs. 222,999
2. 15 inches with Intel core i7, 512GB SSD and 16GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 GPU at Rs. 258,999
3. 15 inches with Intel core i7, 1TB SSD and 16GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 GPU at Rs. 295,999

Basic Specifications:

Surface Book 2 has a touch-enabled screen and is powered by the Intel Core i& 8th generation processor. The Core i5 is the seventh gen. processor from Intel. Microsoft is promising 17 hours of battery life with this laptop. Microsoft says Surface Book 2 is the premium device in their series. It comes in the 13.5-inches and 15-inches variants with up to 16GB and 1TB of storage space. It also has the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050/1060 GPU on Core i7 models.
Surface Book 2 can be detached from the keyboard and used entirely as a tablet. The Surface Book 2 has an improved dynamic fulcrum hinge,which supports the laptop in its various modes.
